Často myslím na změny barev na přelomu dne – ovšem koho dnes zajímají takové věci? Jednou ale tato přemrštěná doba musí skončit a bude opět čas obdivovat Monetovy pozdní lekníny, které osobně považuji za jeden z vrcholů malby dvacátého století…

Bude se mně provždy stýskat po měkkém sopránu paní Gabriely Beňáčové – zvláště v Dvořákově Stabat Mater / O quam tristis et afflicta / či Rusalce / ..a duše lidí, že jde nebi vstříc …/. V zářivě jasné barvě hlasu ve vrcholných pasážích je cítit rozměr věčnosti, který jsem později už nikdy nepotkal…

I will forever miss the soft soprano of Mrs. Gabriela Beňáčová - especially in Dvorak's Stabat Mater / O quam tristis et afflicta / or Rusalka / .. and souls of people that goes towards the heaven ... /. The clear bright color in the top passages of her voice had dimension of eternity, which I later had never met ...
