Transparentní dekorativnost provedení byla pro mne v určitých okamžicích vždy opakovaně důležitá. S tíhnutím k symboličnosti jsem si tehdy nevěděl moc rady - jenom jsem si byl jist, že musím jít neprošlapanou cestou. Kompoziční rozvrh odpovídá spíše velkému formátu, než nevelkému obrázku, kterým ve skutečnosti tato olejová tempera je. Zařazuji zde podobné věci práve z tohoto důvodu: jsou dokladem mého směřování již od sedmdesátých let…

The transparent decorativeness of design was for me at the certain moments always repeatedly important. With my propensities to symbolism I myself did not know much advice - I was only sure that I must go through unknown territories.
